Tank stared almost in horror at the building, but the smells were a bit different and not that of death. He shook his head and glanced at the others walking away from him.. he heard no word from the others but knew he upset the wolf looking female. He took a step back trying to figure out if he should go in..but the men in white... was this building THE building?
quickly he glanced around looking for the broken fence and the decay smell...but none of it was there.. just rust and old. Frowning he slowly entered..body so tense as if ready to feel within seconds.
He froze hearing the aussie and he parted his maw showing his teeth in a warning and stepped out of the way. he still havent made up his mind about this group... he is used to being alone and traveling. move move move stay safe..keep going..forget others easier to feed one then four or five.
Tank stood right at the door ..still debating.

Fusu left Tank standing at the entrance and walked into the factory. Many scents flooded into his nostrils, rust, machinery, and many more. He looked up and down scaling what he could see of the run down place, then, watching where he stepped, trotted over to where Twisted and Spyke were waiting. He took a seat near them. "So.." Fusu said, attempting to make conversation since the air felt very tense, but he didn't know what to say other than "So".
He eventually laid down, his head falling down to rest in between his paws, seeing that he wasn't the one who could start a conversation. I hope this all works out. He thought while looking back and forth between his new friends. This is the closest thing to a family I've got..

Spyke raised a brow and stared at Fusu before smiling slightly. "So.." She repeated his words. "What's the plan here?" She asked, the question more directed to Twisted. "Do we just sit here and live off mice, or go look for larger game?" Spyke was a hunter; she was always anxious to track down some game. In fact, when the humans were alive, that's all she was used for; tracking. She helped the people find all types of animals. Hunting was the only part of being "owned" that Spyke actually enjoyed; whenever she wasn't tracking, she was being neglected and beaten. Sure, the humans would never kill her, or leave her with permanent scars, but they were cruel to her, and she knew that they didn't really care about her well-being in the slightest.
(Just figured I'd post something x3)

Fusu's eyes shifted to Spyke when she repeated his words, he couldn't help but smile. She then threw a question in Twisted's direction, how were they going to do this. Fusu raised his head when she asked. Continuing, she also asked if they were just going to stick around here and live off mice, or go hunt larger game. I wonder if there's even any large game out there anymore.. Fusu thought, his mouth watering at the thought of fresh deer meat, or any other game. Hardly anyone knew if any other animal (other than dogs) existed anymore. Fusu hadn't seen any, anyway. Not even a cat! He realized, how strange...

Tank finally entered the run down place. he shook himself as if flicking off water. Once more he glanced around and eased his way in, but staying close to the door. he ignored the stampede of rats, even if his stomach cursed him. what IS good to eat around this doomed place? He looked to the little yippie dog and waged his tail a bit...the little guy was growing on him.
" we do need food...something other then rottie trash..."

Twisted took everything in, every ones words into consideration. Stay here and get some good shelter and attempt to rest, or leave to the forest with a chance of finding food... She knew the answer. In the morning, none of them would be able to wake up and start a long journey. "Well, we should go get food from the forest. We can come back here later." The only thing was she didn't know the forest as well as the city... Twisted sighed. "Spyke, I'll lead everyone to the edge of the city where the forest begins. You seem to know your way outside of this city...so when we do get there, you'll lead us." Twisted could not believe she was giving up the leader position so easily. She really must like this girl.

Trying to hide her excitement, Spyke nodded. She was finally going to get out of this dump and into the forest; the one place she wanted to be all the time, any time. Another perk was that she got to play captain. Her chance to lead had come, and she was gladly going to take it. She fidgeted anxiously, shifting positions as she awaited input from the other members of the group.

"Sounds good to me, whatever ya'll want to do." Fusu said, sitting up.
The thought of hunting excited him. He had only been once, and although he wasn't the one doing the hunting, he knew what a thrill it was, and the delicious meat afterwards! I just hope all goes well.. He pictured everyone getting hurt or killed by some terrible, evil monster out there... but then shook his head and pushed the terrible thought out of his brain. No matter what happens, he thought, I won't let anything like that happen to my friends.
(I didn't know what to post lmfao so here. ;P)

Tank watched the little one wiggle with excitement. he laughed to himself, can this little one really hunt..other then mice or rats? he turned his attention to the two girls. hmphing he looked back to the door.. any place but here would be a great idea. " the forest..seems better then here... i agree to going to it... " he tried to remember what kind of animals roamed through there.

Spyke couldn't contain herself anymore. She shot up and pranced towards the door. "So, then let's get to it." She yipped eagerly. Trotting outside, she headed straight towards the forest, stopping every now and again to make sure she wasn't getting ahead of the others.
-- THREAD MOVED TO FOREST'S EDGE --
Spyke immediately darted into the trees. She looked back to the others before sniffing at the air. She couldn't detect anything other than bark and grass. She sighed and trotted through the trees, searching for a scent. This was definitely going to be a challenge. She turned towards the others.
"Okay, guys," she barked, her voice full of authority, "we'll split up. If you find a scent, alert the others." She paused. "Just don't go too far." Turning, she began to walk along the tree line, continuing to search the air for a scent.

Kysl had been living in the forest for as long as she could remember, and she had scented only a whiff of other dogs in this here part which made her feel quite proud of herself for defending herself and her territory. But today was going to be different, she could smell it. Literally. The scents of multiple dogs blew into her nostrils at such a force it took her aback. Lifting her slim head, she scanned the forest grounds. Great... she muttered after she spied the shapes of dogs sniffing through the forest. She bared her teeth in a silent snarl, Those dogs take a single sniff at my prey storage, they'll be as good as dead. They'll... Kysl caught herself before she continued her threat, she had not been around her own kind for so long she can't remember the last time she had spoken to them. Deep down, she missed being around them. And this is what made her get to her paws and stride towards them. She caught the last instruction from what seemed like their head dog, a Jamthund, telling the others to not wander to far. Her stomach rumbled, seeming to urge her foreward to speak with the dogs. Okay, okay. Stupid stomach, I'm goin. Lifting her head she silently slid next to the Jamthund. Hello there. May I ask what you are doing in this here forest? I don't usually find many dogs in these parts. While she waited for the dog to answer, she kinked her tail higher, showing that she was not afraid of the strange dogs. Besides, its not like she hasn't had any experience in the matter.

Spyke glared at the other dog, showing her strong fangs as a small, practically inaudible growl rose from her throat. She took a moment to examine the Border Collie-like dog. She took note of her posture; this dog was proud and probably wouldn't hesitate to fight. She straightened herself, her gaze still fierce. "We're looking for food. City mice and rats surely won't keep us alive." She eyed the Collie. "You wouldn't happen to know where any possible prey is, would you?" If this canine lived around here, maybe she would know where any remaining game liked to reside.

Kysl raised her brows to the Jamthund in suspicion, she had not liked the way this dog had answered her, especially when she knew valuable information. With a inward huff, she answered anyhow. I have mainly gone for smaller game, rabbits, mice, squirrels and such. Sometimes deer pass through, though I haven't tasted them in a while. What kind of prey are you guys looking for? I might know a place or two. Kysl eyed the canine questionably, she did not fully trust this dog and she seemed suspicious of her also. So, curling her tail higher, she spoke again. My name is Kysl.

Spyke remained strong in appearance, considering the other dog's stance didn't falter in the slightest. "I'm Spyke." She introduced before quickly moving to answer the Collie's question. "We're looking for anything big enough, or in enough quantity, to feed and keep us all alive." She stated, scratching at the ground absent-mindedly. Sighing, she looked down. "Any help you can give us will be appreciated."

Kysl nodded once, Pleasure to meet you Spyke, I'll be glad to help. Tossing her muzzle to the path ahead, she continued. Up ahead there is a small clearing, there you can find a surplus of rabbits, mice, and the occasional deer. But I'm not sure what is there today, I was just heading there. Mind if I join you? Her head tilted, but her gaze was steady as her eyes bore into Spyke.
